Once you have placed your order and received an order confirmation, we will continue to inform you of shipment dates and tracking information every step of the way up to the final delivery and receipt of the products. If you need to check the status of your order or track your shipment, you can access that information through our customer portal.

Shipment Policy & Information

We understand how critical it is to get the equipment required for the job as soon as possible. That’s why we always strive to provide the quickest and most cost-effective shipping across the United States.

Shipping Cost

Flat Rate Shipping: We offer convenient, low-cost, flat rate shipping for most of our products. Flat rate shipping is unavailable for some designated and specifically marked items that require LTL freight delivery.

Velocity Shipping: Products marked with “Ships Today” enable an order to be placed for any Velocity Ship product before 12 pm EST (Monday-Friday Excluding Holidays), and Reliable Electric will have the order dispatched the same day.

Shipments to Alaska & Hawaii: A surcharge for shipments outside of the contiguous 48 states will be applied for the incurred cost of air freight. This charge is shown at checkout once the shipping address is determined.

Estimated Lead Times

Shipping times are estimated, not guaranteed. Every effort will be made to ship as soon as possible.

  • Large quantity orders may impact the time to shipment. You will be contacted in advance to ensure that you wish to proceed with the order
  • Orders are processed Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm US EST, excluding holidays. You will receive ship date confirmation within 24 hours of order confirmation on the next business day.

Variable Lead Times

Most products are marked with an estimated date of shipment. Some, however, are marked with “Call for approximate lead times”. For these items, it is important that you call us before purchasing to find out when the product in question can be shipped.

Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking

Once your order is processed, we will send you a secondary confirmation of the approximate shipping time. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with your tracking number. The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Shipping Restrictions

International Shipping: Reliable Electric only accepts online orders for shipments within the continental U.S., Alaska, and Hawaii. Orders to international destinations will not be processed online. Please get in touch with us directly to arrange international purchases and shipments.

P.O. Box: Reliable Electric does not ship to P.O. Box addresses.


Satisfaction Guaranteed - Returns up to 30 Days

Except as otherwise described below, if, for any reason, you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it for a refund or store credit within thirty (30) days.

Returning an item

You can call our Customer Service Department at (866) 250-6445 to help you with the return process. A prepaid label is available and can be deducted from your refund. Original shipping charges are non-refundable, and the customer is responsible for any costs associated with returning your product(s), including supplemental carrier insurance to protect against damage or loss in transit.

  • Returned product(s) must be returned unused, undamaged, and untampered with in its original packaging.
  • Carefully package the item(s) and include a copy of the original order confirmation or packing slip as proof of purchase.

Unacceptable Returns

Some items may not be returned or refundable. Used or damaged equipment may not be returned. Regarding special order or custom modification purchases, we will contact you before fulfilling your order to inform you of the refund restrictions and provide you with the option to cancel.

Examples of non-returnable items:

  • Any equipment that has been used and or deployed is non-refundable.
  • Special order items are non-refundable
  • We are sorry, but we can not accept returns made after thirty (30) days of your order delivery.

Don’t hesitate to contact customer service if you have any questions regarding the return policy for the items you purchased or the items you are interested in purchasing. All non-stock, made-to-order, or special-order items are non-returnable.


Freight Claims and Damaged Shipment

Customer Service handles freight damage claims. We can help you if your package was damaged in transit, regardless of how it was shipped.

Please Note

  • If the package(s)/product(s) appear damaged, you should not accept them until the delivery person has signed off on the bill of lading, detailing the degree of the damage.
  • If you have concealed damage and did not notice until you’ve opened the box, keep all packing materials and give us a call within 24 hours of receiving your order.
  • If your shipment has been damaged, please let us know immediately so we can assist you.
