Waist belts are specifically designed to be worn around the waist allowing the worker to correctly position themselves securely and comfortably in a work area. Waist belts by themselves do not provide fall protection. These belts are connected to appropriate lanyards which are attached to a secure anchor point in the work area or structure allowing the worker to complete their task safely.
